First up, here are some pictures of the office before we moved into the house. Apologies for the low light – these pictures were taken before the power was on in the house. We called this room the “Map room” because of the border the previous homeowners chose.
First up was removing the wallpaper, chair rail, hide-away bed, and repairing the walls
Removing the carpet, priming, and replacing the fan with an LED light fixture
Installing hardwood floors and getting some base color down on the walls
Second coat of paint on, baseboard crown molding installed, and new deco switches and outlets installed
I wanted an accent wall to show behind me in video meetings
I got anxious and started moving some office stuff in before some wall touch up and some other odds and ends
